Weekend School
" طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ وَوَاضِعُ الْعِلْمِ عِنْدَ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِ كَمُقَلِّدِ الْخَنَازِيرِ الْجَوْهَرَ وَاللُّؤْلُؤَ وَالذَّهَبَ " .

OVERVIEW
The Midwest Masjid Islamic Center has been working diligently to uphold a standard of excellence since establishing its weekend school. Although recently launched in our rented storefront location, the program has already enrolled over 20 students.
Students receive a well-rounded Islamic education that includes general Islamic studies, Islamic manners and etiquette, Arabic reading and writing, Islamic social studies, and Qur’an recitation with proper Tajwīd (correct pronunciation).
